Nevis

Nevis is located in Leeward Islands approximately 2,000 Km south east of Miami, Florida. The island remained a British Colony from 1628 to 1983, when it became independent and joined the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, with a legal system based on the English Common Law. The national currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar, which is fixed to the US Dollar, with no foreign exchange controls. The island’s official language is English.
