Netherlands Antilles
The Netherlands Antilles are a series of islands Caribbean, two island groups in the Caribbean Sea - composed of five islands, Curacao and Bonaire located off the coast of Venezuela, and St. Maarten, Saba, and St. Eustatius lie east of the US Virgin Islands. They are self governed but technically a constituent part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Hence, a full member of the EU. The legal system is based on Dutch Civil Law. The national currency is the Euro and the country’s official language is Dutch, whilst Papiamento, a Spanish-Portuguese-Dutch-English dialect and English are widely spoken.
